Hold onto your heartstrings for this hilarious, completely improvised comedy show and incredible dinner provided by Pel-Appino Catering! Join us as we interview a lucky couple from the audience about their meet-cute, that awkward first kiss, and the inevitable quirky sidekicks in their love story. Then, watch as our talented improvisers reenact the story live on stage with all the classic rom-com tropes! It’s like reality TV, but with less drama and more laughs!


Each ticket includes a 3-course dinner, one glass of wine and the comedy show. Tickets are $60 per person. Bring your date and enjoy dinner and a comedy show! It’s your one-stop-shop for the most unique and memorable Valentine’s Day ever! Doors open at 5:30PM. Feel free to come early, grab a drink, mingle and find your table. The dinner will start promptly at 6PM and the show will start at 6:15PM. The show is 1 hour and 15 minutes, ending at 7:30PM. Longform L1: The Armando

The Intro to Longform class is all about shifting mindset and approach from shortform games to longform formats. Taking this class will beef up your base improv toolkit while also adding new, foundational tools of longform like various scene transitions, structure, how to go beyond the crescendo of a scene and how to build dynamic characters as well as learning the principles of storytelling and the Armando format.


Must have graduated the Shortform program (L5) or the instructor’s permission.

Level 4: Scenework + Intro to Characters

Wednesdays, Mar. 18th - May 6th, 6:30-8:30PM

Level 4 will focus more on scenework and hone our skills as actors. We’ll learn more theater techniques, develop interesting characters, try impressions, expand our scenes with POV, and master shortform game hosting. We’ll also introduce a variety of new shortform games and how to include audience participation and banter. 


By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Implement the principles of improv, especially CROWN and the Reveal, into every scene.
  • Incorporate more physicality and spacework.
  • Include Point of View and thinking-outside-the-box.
  • Have a variety of characters you feel comfortable playing that are unlike your own personality.
  • Have even deeper connections and chemistry on stage with your scene partners.
  • Play on any shortform stage, even with players you’ve never met before!


Requirements:

  • Must have Level 3 experience or higher or instructor permission
  • Auditions available upon request
